This is a luxury 3 bedroom link villa on the prestigious residential development of Oasis Parque, close to Alvor and Portimao with excellent facilities including large indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, large outdoor swimming pool, poolside cafe, two tennis courts, children's pool and children's play area.  Penina and Alto Golf courses are within a 5 minute drive.

The villa is set in a quiet, beautifully maintained, residential area, between Alvor and Portimao.  The development is constantly  maintained to a very high standard throughout the year with beautiful gardens containing bougainvilleas and palm trees.  The outstanding feature of this area is the leisure complex that includes a large indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi.  The indoor pool is normally heated between the months of November and March.  The facility is open to residents and guests all year round.  Also included is a large outdoor pool, two tennis courts, poolside cafe, children's pool and children's play area.  These facilities are within a 2 minute walk from the villa and sun beds and parasols are provided free of charge at the pool area.

Prices quoted in euro per week (comparative rates in £ Sterling).  Discounts available for long winter lets.

For part weeks, please pro-rate the weekly charge and add an additional €50 euro cleaning charge.

Accommodation:

The villa is furnished to a very high standard of interior design, with air conditioning and heating in main rooms.

Bedrooms:        One double bedroom with king sized bed and one twin bedroom with two single beds on first

                        floor.  One double bedroom with en-suite on ground floor.  All beds equipped with high quality

                        mattresses, pillows and duvets.

Bathrooms:       Family bathroom on first floor, with bath and overhead shower.  En-suite bathroom adjoined to

                        downstairs bedroom, with shower. Hair dryer provided.

Kitchen:            Fully equipped modern kitchen with electric and gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer,

                        washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board, crockery, cutlery and cooking

                        utensils.  Water is heated by gas boiler.

Living Rooms:   Large open plan lounge and dining area on ground floor, with seating for six people.  Patio doors

                       lead to a private terrace with BBQ and outside dining area at the rear of the villa.

Other:              On the first floor there is a covered veranda overlooking the front garden.  There is off-street

                       parking available in the front driveway of the villa.  Satellite TV with most U.K. channels. DVD player.  Baby cot

                       & high chair are available for hire if required.

Bed linens and towels are provided.  Beach towels are not provided.  Maid service and linen change at end of each week.  Additional maid service available on request.  Guests are requested not to smoke inside the villa and pets are not allowed.

Accessibility:

The downstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom provides access for guests with reduced mobility. 

Location: 

This is a select residential area, with excellent facilities and great local restaurants nearby.  The central location and the high quality amenities makes this an ideal location for either adult golfing parties or family groups.  The heated indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, proximity to great golf courses, and the year round sporting and cultural activities in Portimao, makes this an ideal location for a holiday in either winter or summer months.  Conveniently located for access to golf courses and the new Formula 1 Autodrome.  Enjoy wine tasting at the nearby vineyard of Quinta do Morgado da Torre.  See attached map.

Distances:

The villa is only a 40 minutes drive from Faro Airport.  There is a large retail park & supermarket within 1 km. This a very convenient location for shopping, restaurants and entertainment in Portimao & Alvor.  Portimao is 3km, Alvor 5km and Praia da Rocha 5km.  Oasis Parque is on a bus route, with regular bus services into Portimao and Alvor.  2.5km to local aerodrome for scenic flights.  We are only 10km from the new Formula 1 Autodrome.  Slide & Splash Aqua park within 10 mins at Lagoa.  See attached map.  Aqualand is approx 15 minutes and Zoomarine 20 mins by car.  Lisbon and Seville are accessible by car, with approximate travel time to either destination of 2.5 hours.

Beaches:

The Western Algarve has a magnificent coast line, featuring spectacular scenery and endless sandy beaches. The stunning beaches of Praia do Alvor, Praia da Rocha & Praia do Vau are all within 5kms.  At nearby Alvor and Portimao you can find water sports including deep sea fishing, water skiing, sailing and diving.  There are also many scenic walks and bicycle trails, with horse riding nearby at Vale de Ferro.

Golf:

Ideally located near some fantastic golf courses.  Penina, pictured opposite (2.5kms), is within 5 mins drive.  Other courses within close proximity include: Alto Golf (5 mins), Golfe do Morgado (10 mins), Palmares (10 mins), Boavista (15 mins), Vale da Pinta & Gramacho (15 mins).

The Boavista resort is a sister development and residents of Oasis Parque can avail of discounted green fees

Generally, it is recommended that golf is booked in advance with specific courses, to get the best discounted rates.

Formula 1 Autodrome:

Within Easy access of the new Formula 1 Autodrome, located approximately 10Km from the villa.  With the new roads that have recently been constructed, travel time is only 10 minutes by car.   Official race competitions are scheduled throughout the year.  Details can be found on website: www.autodromodoalgarve.com.

Restaurants:

There are some fantastic restaurants within easy access of the villa.   There are very good local Portuguese restaurants within walking distance of the villa that provide excellent quality dishes at reasonable prices.  In nearby Alvor and Portimao you will find restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.  You can enjoy cafe life in the cobble-stone streets of the Portimao and Alvor harbour areas.  These areas are particularly popular with visitors and locals alike.  Alvor, in particular, is renowned for its great selection of seafood restaurants.

Relax with a sundowner drink at the picturesque waterfront at Alvor, before sampling one of the excellent seafood restaurants.

Bookings:

25% deposit required to secure booking, with balance payable 8 weeks before arrival, along with returnable breakage deposit €200 (£150).  Payment accepted:  Personal cheque or bank wire transfer.  Changeover day is flexible, depending on booking availability.  Arrivals after 2:00pm and departures by 10:30am to allow cleaning and linen change.
